About Paige

From an early age, I've been drawn to understanding how things work—not just accepting them as they are, but imagining how they could be better. I remember being fascinated by the behind-the-scenes of healthcare, the systems and people working together to care for communities. That curiosity grew into a genuine passion for problem-solving, especially when I realized that the most meaningful changes don't often happen in isolated moments but through strengthening the systems that support entire communities.
What led me to healthcare administration was the realization that I could channel this curiosity into tangible, measurable impact. I'm drawn to the challenge of taking something complex—like healthcare operations, workforce processes, or organizational data—and making it more efficient, effective, and higher quality. I've also taken special interest in analytics and how data can be used to identify patterns, evaluate performance, and inform smarter decision-making. For me, healthcare administration is where operations, quality, and strategy meet and where I can contribute to building systems that run better for the people who rely on them.

Passionate about healthcare administration, operations, and analytics, I'm driven by the challenge of using data to build more efficient, effective health systems. Recently receiving my BS in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh, with a certificate in Managing Health Services Programs and Projects, I've been recognized three times on the Dean's List while gaining practical experience in data analysis and operations across local and international healthcare settings.

My most recent internship was with the Allegheny County Health Department in workforce operations and human resources, where I developed standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and analyzed workforce data to improve HR operational efficiency. I presented data-driven recommendations to the Deputy Director of Administration to enhance output consistency and task quality across the department. In the summer of 2024, I worked alongside the Quality Improvement (QI) team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London, where I applied statistical process control (SPC) tools and data analysis to evaluate performance metrics and support evidence-based improvements. This experience sharpened my ability to translate data into actionable insights, and I developed SOPs for future interns and supported improvements to the recruitment process through data-informed recommendations. As Business Manager for Pitt AMWA, I managed the organization's budget and applied data-driven decision-making to resource allocation, further strengthening my administrative and operational skill set. On campus, I volunteered with the University of Pittsburgh's Vaccination & Health Connection Hub, where I supported data collection and patient flow management to maintain efficient operations. In addition, I previously served on the School of Public Health Student Advisory Board, where I helped advocate for students and contributed to program development by organizing engaging events that incorporated student input and feedback.

I'm particularly drawn to healthcare administration and analytics because of their potential to turn complex data and operational insight into meaningful improvements in how care is delivered. Through my experiences, I've seen how data-driven decision-making, process optimization, and collaborative problem-solving can transform healthcare systems from the inside out. When I'm not working, you can find me experimenting with new baking recipes, hiking around Pittsburgh, planning my next travel adventure, hanging out with my two bunnies, or getting lost in a good book.

I'm eager to bring my growing expertise in healthcare administration, operations, and analytics to organizations that prioritize innovation, efficiency, and data-informed care delivery.
